What is HillForte?
HillForte is a licensed real estate agency (AMI 21687) based at Mercado da Ribeira in Lisbon, Portugal, founded by Camilla Costa. We help international and Portuguese clients buy, sell and invest in property in Lisbon, Cascais, Comporta and the Algarve, and support clients relocating to Portugal, with one dedicated contact from the first conversation to completion.
What happens after I enquire?
Camilla reviews your enquiry personally and contacts you to arrange a short conversation about your plans. If we can help, we agree the scope and fee in writing before any work begins.
Who will be my main contact?
Camilla Costa, our founder, leads every engagement personally and remains your main point of contact, supported by our team and trusted partners.
Can you search beyond the properties on your website?
Yes. When you ask us to find a property for you, we search the wider market: other agencies, developers, private owners and properties offered privately.
How do your fees work?
It depends on the service. Our fee and what it includes are always agreed in writing before we begin, and we explain them clearly in the first conversation.
Who do you represent?
We always tell you clearly who we represent in a transaction. When a seller appoints us, we act for the seller. When a buyer appoints us to search, we act for that buyer.
Can you manage the process while I am abroad?
Yes. Many of our clients live abroad. We run viewings by live video, send regular updates and coordinate everything locally, so you only travel when it matters.
Do you handle visas and residency?
Visa applications are handled by immigration lawyers. Through our relocation service we help you plan your move and introduce you to trusted lawyers and specialists. The final legal and tax position should always be confirmed with them.
